I have been married for 27 years and have two beautiful grown-up children.

For as long as I can remember travel has always been a part of my life. My late mom loved to travel, and I clearly remember her excitement and happiness (and often anxiety) as she meticulously planned her trips abroad. This rubbed off on me from an early age which is why I set off to London in 1993 to “see the world”. In order to fund my own dreams of travel, I took up employment in a large global travel agency and suddenly found myself booking travelers to all corners of the earth. As a young 19-year-old working in a foreign country and being exposed to so many other different and exciting destinations, the travel bug had bitten, so when I returned home to South Africa in 1994 it was a perfectly natural course for me to pursue a career in travel.

I have now been in the travel business for 30 years and am the proud owner of The Travel Station. During my journey as a wife and mother I have been very fortunate to visit many different countries and my love to travel is as strong as ever. No price can be put on the memories that my family have enjoyed together! Whether it has been lying on a beach in Zanzibar, skiing (at least trying to) in Austria , watching Rafael Nadal play tennis in Monte Carlo (and Madrid), or simply strolling the streets of beautiful European cities during the cold winter months, these special memories will last with my family forever and we are always dreaming about where to go next.
